Job Description

We are seeking to recruit a Safety Engineer (Failure Analysis) for our key
electronics manufacturing client for a 1-year contract.


A Safety Engineer (Failure Analysis) will
provide technical support for field returns ensuring analysis of field returns
across various products.


Core Responsibilities

·        Ensure
thorough analysis of field returns

·        Follow FA
flow charts& procedures, ensure thorough analysis and reporting of field

·        Conduct
Battery cell tear-downs and perform corresponding documentation and image

·        Monitoring
field trends for various product families

·        Provide
advice on the capture of field return devices and field capture process

·        Responsible
for completion of field return analysis with findings and a detailed summary

·        Work with
field safety engineers to provide technical support for field returns

·        Work with
CT team for submitting X-ray & CT scans of units

·        Hands-on
testing on the field return units as needed


Experience with CT/X-ray reviews and analysis a big

Familiarity with Safety standards affecting
consumer electronics a big plus.


·        Technical
engineering degree in related field.

·        Experience
in lieu of education will be considered

·        Significant
Lab experience and command of Failure Analysis & Forensics methods required

·        Experience
in consumer electronics, EE and/or Battery FA especially valued

·        Strong
communicator; adaptive personality capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced

·        Thrives
under pressure and has a high curiosity quotient needed to excel in this role

·        Able to
work over-time and flexible hours based on mission needs/requirements

·        Able to
embark on limited travel (as needed)
