Job Description

           Develops plan of care that is individualized for the adult or elderly patient reflecting collaboration with other members of the healthcare team

·         Work together with healthcare team and coordinating their activities when necessary, enabling the objectives to be achieved

·         Performs appropriate treatments as ordered by the physician in an accurate and timely manner

·         Performs therapeutic nursing interventions for the adult or elderly patient

·         Systematization of nursing care with evaluation and completion of care protocols

·         Check drugs of high vigilance and complexity

·         Evaluation of lesions and prescription of dressings

·         Provide vital signs control

·         Assistance bedside to adult or elderly patients, with needs for palliative care, clinical, surgical

·         Assistance in emergency situations

·         Preparation of activities to maintain the quality of nursing care

·         Implantation of new protocols and assistance in its continuous implementation

·         Make ethic decisions in different complex levels and situations, assess and evaluate the results

·         Work under HIQA standards
