Summary of the

The successful candidate will work
within the Product Development team, focused on product feature design taking
current market conditions and Irish/EU policy measures into account, as well as
sourcing funding and counter-guarantees to support these


·         Identify required
features and shape end product offerings to address established market failures
in the Credit market in Ireland.

·         Interpret strategic
direction and Government policy to inform new product development Initiatives.

·         Develop
product strategies consistent with strategic plan and Government policy.

·         As part of
the Product Development team, take new product ideas from concept to
implementation, working with the Lending and Risk teams to seamlessly deliver
products to frontline lenders. Collaborate with these teams around cost, price,
design and delivery of new financial instruments.

·         Negotiate
facilities, transactions and product structures with funders and guarantors and
work with different team to create facilities for on-lenders as part of the product
development process.

·         Support the
Head of Product Development in working with key stakeholders as they pertain to
new products and policy measures to be undertaken by the company.


& Skills

·         Previous
Experience in a relevant role in product/proposition development, preferably
with direct experience within the Small and Medium Enterprise sector and/or knowledge of/previous
experience in the banking industry.

·         Track record
of having project managed and delivered financial products and large scale
transactions, which may include Guarantees, Lending, Investment Funds,
Securitised Portfolios, etc.   

·         Strong report
writing skills capable of preparing and delivering detailed product proposals,

·         Demonstrated
ability to think critically and creatively while understanding the benefits and
risks associated with financial guarantees, unsecured lending and varying
borrower profiles. 

·         A high level
of numeracy, financial acumen, analytical skills and attention to detail.

·         Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills, and proven ability to collaborate with
internal and external stakeholders.
