We’re looking for Software Development Engineers who is passionate about technology, loves solving customer problems, and delivers the high quality work. We are looking for someone who has a particular interest in building cloud (AWS) services and data pipelines to address challenging engineering problems.Job responsibilities
- Building data ingestion pipelines (event-based and scheduled).
- Writing Java-based services to consume and process data from external APIs
- Building cloud infrastructure on AWS including using AWS CDK.
- Building automated processes to test data quality
- Being part of an agile development team
Requirements
- Passion for delivery high-quality code
- 5+ years experience writing commercial-grade Java software applications.
- Test-driven development, which includes Unit and End-to-End Testing
- Experience with Agile software development (Scrum).
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment approaches and tools.
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, or relevant related work experience.
- 2+ years cloud development experience writing infrastructure as code (AWS essential)
Desirable
- Experience with Apache Airflow (including AWS MWAA)
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
